Instead of calling christmas Xmas we shall go completely crazy (absolutely skipping the 2nd dimension entirely) and Y becomes Z to be Zmas. AND WHY NOT? I prefer tabletop games. Or X,Z is the new X,Y? After all I am Square Mezzmer. Square. Tee hee. Anyway. The decorations are auto-upped which means only one thing. WE ARE APPROACHING ZMAS. Also if we don't receive replies to this amazing cataclysm of events that introduces a brand new meaning to the known UNIVERSE I'll say one more thing. HAVE A HAPPY NEW Y-EAR. Y-ay. ____________ |

The end of the year sometimes is a hard time. Z also stands for a fight down, maybe. However I am hopeful that my year ends well and that I will be making plans for the new year to be a success, too. This year I have had a good time of going to programming daycare programming Java, and setting up my new computer (almost done). Also I have been playing the new Counter-Strike (CS:GO) until I had enough of it. The next year should be with more programming from my house out, continuing to work on a 2D Map Editer in Java. Also I am back in IRC (#bilge on timtam.uk.eu.blitzed.org). There should be no financial problems and my day care will continue. Also any hackers should let me alone. I am hoping to get far with the Map Editer, and would start a worklog for a game when the editer is done. Until then I am hiding my tools. ____________ Personal website: http://www.loijson.com |

3D is not for everyone yet! With LibGDX for Java I had to make my own collision detection because it was not there, and a command to move in a direction (angle, with pixel speed). There is also 3D to use with LibGDX but I am afraid it might lack similar functionality.

I did create Z-depth once with a water shader on my 2D surface. It went waving in the Z direction.
